While that is certainly part of the equation, there is another part that can actually be a lot more important:
Attitude and mental approach. While training for strength might be hard, training for a certain body type can be even harder. In one sense, training harder is about the pain, whether on the exercise equipment like a jump rope or in the gym.
That's not to say that effort must be in vain. But it's more difficult to get yourself to train if you lack motivation. Training consistently won't get you a six-pack. You're going to have to be disciplined and make sure your environment supports your goals. And if that environment happens to include people with your goals as well, you'll likely not feel alone, even though you might be the only one in the gym! These motivational tips will help you get and stay motivated.

DECIDE ON A WHY
It doesn't matter what you do for a living as long as you're living the life of your dreams, an intense 8-week get-slim program that will leave you feeling and looking good in all aspects of your life outside of the
fitness room. If you're doing it for the right reasons, it will make it easier to make the right decision every time. When you have a "why," you'll be able to put more effort into getting your workout done. Think about a time when you fell very short of your goal and did something about it. Whether you're aiming to lose weight or you just need to get a new dress fitting, a "why" will put more pressure on you to make the right decision the next time.
